Shelters and campsites - Torres del Paine

It is recommended to reserve the mountain huts in Torres del Paine well in advance. They are small shelters, and it is difficult to find space, especially when coordinating a tour of three or more days between the months of November to March.

The mountain huts offer rooms to share with other trekkers, with 4 to 8 beds per room. They have hot showers and shared bathrooms. You can also buy food and meals based on their daily menus.
You can buy hot meals, breakfast, lunch to take with you on your trek, and dinner. Some of the mountain huts also have small stores. (Though the prices are high and options minimal.)

If you plan to hike the W or large Circuit without a guide, we are happy to share all our expertise with you and help you coordinate your trip by reserving space in the mountain huts and booking buses and accommodation in Puerto Natales. We charge logistical fees of CL$45.000 per person; this ensures that you will have all the proper reservations and information for your visit to Torres del Paine.

If you book the mountain huts, buses or Puerto Natales accommodation through us, the prices are the same as if you purchased them from the agencies or hotels directly.

If you plan to complete the W Trek or the Full Circuit around the Paine Massif using only campsites, you should know that there are both free and pay-for campsites. The cost for the pay-for campsites is between $5.500 -9.000 CLP per person. Advance reservations are not required.

The free campsites are the responsibility of the National Park Administration. They have sanitary facilities, but it is not guaranteed that they will be functioning properly.

The free campsites are: Camping Italiano, Británico, Los Guardas, Paso, Pingo, Zapata, Las Carretas and Torres. (Please see their locations on the map.)

Rental of camping equipment.
Our rental equipment is new and selected for the weather conditions here. (Please reserve your equipment in advance). View equipment.

If you donít want to walk with a lot of weight and do not wish to carry equipment between campsites, it is possible to rent equipment from the privately owned, pay-for campsites, but rental costs in the Park are much higher, and reserving the equipment also carries and additional cost.
